Young Scientists celebrated at IOBC 2025

In September researchers from across the world gathered in Sassari, Italy, for the 11th Meeting of the IOBC-WPRS Working Group “Integrated Protection in Oak Forests”.

Prizes were awarded for various outstanding contributions and students working with our OAK-HOPE Network Leads, Sandra Denman and Bruno Scanu, scooped two of the accolades.

PhD student Alice Dibley, who works with Sandra Denman, was awarded Best Poster. Alice is studying the connection between the soil microbiome and AOD.
